Inside LBHQ there was one which really "connected with us"...

We've selected "Flip"!

Yup, the name of our new Little Bird is going to be "Flip" as in "Flip Switch". Let us know what you think in the comments below!

Congratulations to Trent McDougall who was the first to suggest the name "Flip", your voucher is on the way to you!

Thank you to everyone who submitted their ideas!

Cheers,

Little Bird

I didn't realise that the Little Bird community was so erudite, or do I mean crudite.

Delightful historic reference!

By: on 13 April 2018
In the 1960's, Digital Equipment Corporation marketed to electronics experimenters a line of modules that they called Flip Chips. These were small plug-in circuit cards that had the equivalent of one (small-scale) integrated circuit on each card. Many a custom digital device was built with these modules, plugged into a wire-wrapped socket matrix.

Flip...

And for a nickname, shorten it to "Fli"
